CARVED & DIMENSIONAL SIGNS:

Both popular and attractive this sign makes a powerful impact. Signworks uses routing, hand carving, unique textures and multiple layers to achieve a very original and professional look. These signs are predominately constructed of High Density Urethane which is similar in texture and density to a surf board core but does not warp, crack or rot and has a much longer lifespan.

SANDBLASTED:

A tried and true sign form, the look of a blasted wood panel is always attractive. Redwood and Cedar are the most common wood materials but now High Density Urethane is being used as a wood replacement. HDU can be sandblasted or carved to simulate wood grain. Acrylic paints and these new material options extend sign life beyond their wood predecessors.

GILDING:

Gold leaf's beauty and brilliance make it the most elegant signage. For natural brilliance both visually and symbolically, nothing compares with gold. Because of gold's ability to catch and reflect sunlight gilded letters are readable from a much greater distance than any other type of lettering. We use 23k gold leaf in our designs. This is not a "gold paint", but actual sheets of real gold that is inlaid into carved letters or applied to a surface. Other precious metal leafs are also available.

GLUE CHIPPED GLASS:

Glass panels are glue-chipped and/or etched and gilded with gold or other metal leafs. Other features can include bronzing powders, airbrushing, two-tone gilding, variegated leaf and abalone shell filling. This is truly becoming one of the lost arts in classic sign making. It provides a very high end look and professional image. These types of signs are fantastic works of art and gifts for special occasions.

We can also contract to do some specialized neon, backlighting, push through acrylic lettering and halo effect lighting.We can create internally illuminated can signs with acrylic faces, flex faces or routed aluminum. With the routed aluminum faces, the copy on the face is routed and backed up with acrylic so the copy is illuminated at night.
